Sharon has a love of experimenting with the many approaches of ink on paper.
The unpredictability never ceases to surprise, amaze and challenge Sharon. She loves the vibrancy of colour, fluidity, texture and joy of the imperfect. Sharon uses ink with watercolour, gouache, acrylics, collage and other media.
In all her work there is an element of freedom, of escaping and wanting to be ‘freed’. Literal or suggested pathways to the possibilities of the unknown. Believing and having faith in the unlimited potential of what is to come. A strong belief all human beings have a deep longing to experience the boundless joy of feeling free. Of escaping.
