Working from her studio in Nelson, Natalie Walker challenges herself to push materials beyond their boundaries when creating her pieces.
She feels there was always something inside her wanting to tell a story. She uses this to create contemporary revolution art which combines her two creative passions, art and makeup, together.
Natalie says she is a born up-cycler and often unique up-cycled items can be found in her work. Her preferred medium is acrylic on plywood or timber, and many of her works are finished with high gloss resin, a process that is time consuming and exacting.
