Christine Parnell

Christine has lived in Hawke’s Bay all her life and has been creating artworks in many different forms since she can remember.

Her work is inspired by New Zealand’s wonderful scenery and nature but more particularly that of Hawke’s Bay. She interprets this using oil, acrylic or watercolour.

Experienced in the arts; Christine opened ‘Bent Gum Gallery’ in Greenmeadows last year. She was also a founding member of Viva Gallery in Napier and is a member of the Humanity Painters art group, helping curate the annual exhibition for the last five years.
